Subcontract Manager - Data Centres - Hamburg

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state‑of‑the‑art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi‑Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high‑tech industries. Responsibilities

• Functionally reporting to the Project Procurement Manager (PPM)
• Keep track of subcontractor progress and performance
• Confirm quantities on re measurable scopes/contracts
• Support the subcontractor invoice payment process by checking/releasing payment certificates
• Claim Management to and from the subcontractor
• Change/Variation order management
• Close cooperation with Engineering/Design, Scheduling and Project Management to mitigate the risk of delay or negative financial impact
• Successfully negotiate contract close outs.
• Support our continuous improvement philosophy by providing regular feedback (Lessons Learnd)

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration or engineering
• You have at least five years of working / project experience in large scale construction and engineering projects
• You have experience in managing subcontractors within the projects
• You have a high level of commercial awareness to serve as your compass to guide your day‑to‑day work
• You are experienced in working with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and SAP (benefit) and have a fluent level in spoken and written German language (at least level B2) and good knowledge of English
• You have a mindset to act, deliver results and collaborate across the organisation
• You actively take decisions and take ownership for the choices you make
• You are open to work in dynamic projects and welcome change as a chance to grow
• You push on your development and encourage others to explore possibilities beyond their comfort zone
