Drive seamless supplier integration in the energy sector! For our valued partner in the international energy industry, we are looking for a Supplier Onboarding Specialist (m / f / d) for the Düsseldorf location. Take responsibility for supplier qualification, data accuracy, and system alignment to strengthen our global supply chain. In this role, you will collaborate closely with procurement, legal, and technical teams to ensure robust and compliant supplier relationships.

Your tasks

• Execute and coordinate supplier onboarding in the Ivalua system
• Review, validate, and maintain supplier information and documents
• Support suppliers with system usage and onboarding requirements
• Liaise with internal departments (e.g., ESG, Compliance, Rating Hub) during onboarding
• Escalate issues or missing feedback to the Supplier Owner or Team Lead
• Monitor and follow up on required certificate and qualification updates
• Provide additional support, such as data quality checks and sourcing tender assistance

Your qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or relevant university degree (e.g., business administration, supply chain management)
• Experience in supplier management, procurement, or onboarding processes is an advantage
• Familiarity with digital procurement systems (ideally Ivalua, alternatively SAP Ariba, Coupa, etc.)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
• Team player with a service-oriented and proactive mindset
• Strong communication skills in German and English
