Supply Chain & Logistics Business Development Manager (m/f/x)

Job Summary

The data‑driven network logistics department manages a Europe‑wide network of more than 200 logistics partners. As our new Logistics Business Development Manager, you will proactively drive growth, manage contracts, spearhead tendering, and lead continuous improvement initiatives at the Berlin headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Own negotiation, execution, and management of contracts with suppliers, landlords, and partners.
• Lead the entire tendering process for new logistics solutions.
• Oversee the logistics administration system for efficient information management.
• Contribute to achieving P&L targets through cost management and detailed reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
• Manage cross‑functional, data‑driven projects to exceed expectations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and service quality.

Qualifications

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field.

• Experience in parcel logistics, automotive logistics, finished vehicle logistics, transportation, real estate, network design desirable but not mandatory.
• Passion for driving tasks forward, project ownership, and inspirational leadership.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to summarise quantitative concepts.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, stay within budget.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German, French, Spanish, or Italian a plus.
• Industry knowledge and existing network within automotive logistics companies is a plus.
