Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Aerostructures you are acting as Supply Chain Quality Manager (m/f/d) in the Metallic Aerostructure Team in Hamburg / Finkenwerder.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Act as focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract management
  • Act as ambassador of the supplier towards internal functions
  • Manage Supply Chain & Quality aspects of the contract
  • Responsible for On Time, On Quality and On Cost performance
  • Manage supplier quality approval / authorization
  • Ensure that suppliers are compliant with required certifications in coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor / support new product introduction to ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial phase
  • Provide consolidated forecast and ensure that suppliers will have the required capacity
  • Assess the supplier capacity, capability & performance and contribute to the supplier development
  • Identify the supplier industrial risks and propose mitigation actions
  • Work out short‑term recovery plans
  • Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects
  • Set long‑term development targets together with the suppliers and in coordination with the Supplier Development Team
  • Contribute to the annual Supplier Evaluation Development (SED)
  • Present the situation of the supplier on operational performance (KPIs, assessments)
  • Maintain close communication and coordination with the operational teams at internal customer sites
  • Ensure the contribution of all relevant functions to the delivery of procured goods or services

Your Profile:

  • Completed studies in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain / Logistics, Supply Chain Quality or comparable
  • Professional experience in Supplier Management, Quality Management and Supply Chain
  • Experience in Presentation
  • Experience in Project Management is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge in Change Management, Lean Management and Total Quality Management
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Good skills in MS‑Office, SAP and Google Workspace
  • Fluent German and English skills spoken and written
  • Willingness to travel
