Support Engineer (m/f/d)

RAYLASE GmbH is a high-tech company based in Weßling am Ammersee. We are a provider of high-precision opto-mechanical solutions for laser material processing and with around 170 motivated employees worldwide, we support our customers in developing innovative laser systems. Our products are used in many markets, such as electromobility, photovoltaics as well as additive manufacturing and the electronics industry.

To support our rapidly growing customer base with reliable and accurate scanning solutions, we are looking for a Technical Competence Center (TCC) as soon as possible:

YOUR TASKS

• You support and advise our customers on technical issues in the development and operation of innovative laser machines and processes (focus: software and electronics).
• You develop suitable customer solutions in close cooperation with R&D and technical sales.
• You listen to our customers and initiate new developments on this basis.
• You have an eye for new trends and developments in the market.
• You occasionally conduct product demonstrations as well as customer trainings.
• You enrich our motivated team with your communicative and enthusiastic personality.

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree or training in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
• Software and programming affinity (C# and/or C++).
• Interdisciplinary skills in electrical engineering, network engineering advantageous.
• Experience in laser technology a plus, but not required.
• Hands-on mentality and ability to systematically analyze technical issues.
• Professionalism in dealing with customers and external business partners.
• Business fluent in German and English.
