What You’ll Do

As a Sustainability (Senior / Expert) Adoption Facilitator (f/m/d) with a limited contract until in the Customer Adoption Care team, you will drive our success in sustainability by securing customer outcomes and knowledge growth across the ecosystem.

• Early adoption support:
  • Delivering our SAP Sustainability Adoption Care Program (ACP)
  • Initiate the adoption of inactive license‑customers in our install base
• Product Success:
  • Support our “product champions” in their duties and responsibilities
  • Help the “product champions” oversee customer statuses, compose regular updates, progress summaries, and forecasts on adopting and active customers
• Adoption Office:
  • Lead initiatives for next‑level adoption aligned to our overall strategic priorities
  • Contribute to knowledge management & enablement (content, sessions, …)
  • Provide sustainability expertise to Customer Success Managers and other roles involved in driving the adoption and consumption of the SAP Sustainability solutions along the Customer Value Journey

What You Bring

• Customer focus: Comfortable leading direct customer engagements, understanding requirements and goals, and turning them into actionable plans to increase software and AI product usage and value realization
• Deep technical software product understanding:
  • Profound business processes and technical knowledge of SAP cloud technology (including SAP‑internal business processes, if applicable)
  • Preferably, technical experience in SAP Sustainability solutions
  • Preferably, technical experience in other (SAP or non‑SAP) Sustainability SaaS solutions
  • Preferably, technical experience in adjacent (SAP or non‑SAP) corporate IT solution areas such as FI, CO, Data and Analytics, Procurement
  • Preferably (big plus), subject‑matter expertise in sustainability management and regulations/reporting fields, e.g., ESG compliance and reporting, carbon accounting and management, circular economy and extended producer responsibility
• Further (soft) skills:
  • Pro‑activity, self‑responsibility, and reliability
  • Team‑player, problem‑solver, results‑oriented with a can‑do attitude
  • Detail orientation without perfectionism
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication
  • Business fluent in German and English (must‑have)
• Work experience: At least 10+ years with proven success in at least two of the following main areas:
  • Technical SAP product and technology knowledge, either from SAP product management, SAP sales, consulting and/or implementation, or similar roles at relevant industry peers
  • Account or Customer Success Management in the B2B SaaS industry
  • Sustainability (management) consulting
  • Technical Business Process Consulting

The Sustainability Customer Adoption Unit (SCAU) is part of the Sustainability Growth Unit (SGU). The mission of the SGU is to enable sustainable business strategies and models by following an ERP‑centric Sustainability approach. The SCAU drives the adoption of the SAP Sustainability cloud solutions and supports continuous customer success. It is a global unit comprised of two teams: Adoption Services and Adoption Care.
