Responsibilities

Ensure the smooth operation and continuous development of the SAP Basis system landscape.
Design, implement, and optimize archiving strategies and solutions in SAP systems.
Analyze data archiving requirements and ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards (e.g. GDPR).
Carry out upgrades, patches, and system migrations within the SAP Basis infrastructure.
Support the planning and implementation of cloud‑based and hybrid SAP solutions, including system monitoring and performance optimization.
Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners while creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Contribute to the SAP RISE program by supporting the Basis team with your expertise.

Qualifications

Successfully completed training in IT, a degree in computer science, or hold a comparable qualification.
Solid knowledge in SAP system administration.
Several years of experience in data archiving and familiarity with SAP archiving tools such as SAP ArchiveLink or SAP ILM.
Strong analytical skills, a structured working style, and excellent problem‑solving capabilities.
Team‑oriented mindset and strong communication skills, paired with the ability to work independently.
Proactive and have a strong willingness to continuously develop your professional and personal skills.
Proficiency in German and English completes your profile.
