System Engineer - Technical Safety & Regulatory Compliance (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Provide an ownership of applicable norms and safety standards for all products & equipment developed by R&D
• Establish processes & methodologies to monitor and ensure the relevant compliance with applicable regulations
• Perform risk related analysis and monitor/drive the implementation of mitigating actions as per the defined action plan and in compliance with national regulations
• Draft and update all risk & compliance related technical documentation and declarations of conformity
• Carry out compliance analysis for new markets entry and support discussions with local authorities
• Support certification processes with national test agencies
• Work with corporate requirements management tools, promoting suggestions and improvements

Your Qualifications & Skills

• Completed studies in electronics, electrical engineering or mechatronics
• Work experience and training in electrical safety compliance and preferably also in type approval certifications.
• Knowledge of European directives for CE conformity declaration (Low Voltage Directive, EMC, Radio Equipment Directive, Machinery Directive, RoHS, REACH)
• Experience in risk assessment and mitigation according to EN ISO 12100
• Knowledge of Eichrecht and MessEG/EV regulation is a plus
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, proactive and excellent communication skills
• Fluent in Italian and/or German, as well as in English
