Responsibilities

Logical/functional decomposition of the system into subsystems or assemblies
Creation of system/subsystem specifications and design descriptions
Technical management during development (technical planning, management of requirements, interfaces and risks)
Reporting on budget, costs, deadlines and quality standards
Preparation and execution of internal design reviews
Coordination, monitoring and documentation of the implementation, integration, verification and validation of the system
Internal cooperation with other departments

What We Are Looking For

Analysis of stakeholder requirements
Definition of technical requirements
Logical/functional decomposition of the system into subsystems or assemblies

This position can be filled at our locations in Unterlüß or Hamburg.

What Qualifications You Should Have

Successfully completed university degree, e.g. in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or similar
Several years of professional experience as a systems engineer and initial knowledge of project management
Experience in the metalworking industry is an advantage
Sound knowledge of systems engineering tools such as DOORS and Enterprise Architect
Very good written and spoken English
High degree of initiative and flexibility as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to travel
