Systems Engineer (m/f/d) – Space Systems / Antenna Structures | End-to-End Engineering Ownership
Location: Munich Area - Predominantly On-site
Salary: €80,000 – €100,000 gross/year

Your Role
As a Systems Engineer, you will take ownership of complex space antenna systems across the full engineering lifecycle — from concept and requirements definition through to integration, testing, and delivery.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and play a key role in ensuring system performance, quality, and successful mission outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead system engineering activities for deployable antenna systems across all project phases
- Define, manage, and maintain system requirements and configurations (DOORS, RIVM)
- Support integration, testing, and verification of subsystems into spacecraft
- Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, RF, thermal, electrical)
- Drive system-level documentation and contribute to project reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, IRR)
- Analyze system performance and implement corrective actions where required
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical alignment
Your Profile
- ~10+ years of experience in systems engineering within the space or aerospace industry
- Strong experience across the full engineering lifecycle (design → integration → testing → delivery)
- Hands‑on experience with integration, testing, and verification of complex systems
- Proven expertise in requirements and configuration management (DOORS, RIVM)
- Experience working on spacecraft, antenna systems, or deployable structures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Fluent English (minimum C1)
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with large deployable structures or antenna systems
- Exposure to ESA project reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, IRR)
- German language skills
