Systems Engineer Project Manager– Space Ground Segment

YOUR MISSION

• Coordinate and deliver engineering + project management work packages across IT & Ground Segment systems (requirements, design, integration, IV&V, ops handover)
• Produce and maintain requirements, architectures, ICDs, plans, test specs, verification control docs, and deployment strategies
• Manage risk, schedules, budgets, resources, and ensure compliance with organisational processes and QA/CM frameworks
• Support formal reviews (design/verification), service definition & declaration, and stakeholder coordination across multiple divisions
• Contribute to service‑based approaches (ITIL), metrics/KPIs, and continuous improvement of delivery practices
• Contribute to ML/AI workstreams (e.g., NLP, LLMs, vision) supporting next‑gen service capabilities

YOUR EXPERIENCE & TALENTS

• Proven background in systems engineering within complex technical programmes ideally between space/ground segment
• Hands‑on with requirements engineering & traceability (e.g., DOORS), ICDs, ECSS standards, and IV&V of complex systems
• Proficient with PM standards/tooling (PMI/PMBOK, PRINCE2), planning & reporting; comfortable with configuration/change management
• Familiar with ground‑segment domains: monitoring, data distribution, archives, compute/network/IT security; service‑based methods (ITIL)
• Excellent English (written & spoken) with strong stakeholder communication across technical and management levels
