What you can expect

• You prepare and file complex VAT returns (including multi-year adjustments and post-tax audit follow-ups) and adapt them to the requirements of the relevant electronic filing portals.
• You advise domestic and international group companies on all fundamental and individual matters of national and international VAT law at a high level of complexity and coordinate external advisors in Germany and abroad.
• You prepare tax opinions and actionable recommendations and support the preparation of simple legal remedies up to matters of high complexity.
• You manage special projects, such as the implementation of legislative changes, the integration of new business areas, or the onboarding of acceptance locations in additional countries.
• You take a leading role in the digitalization of tax processes within the tax department.

What makes you stand out

• You have successfully completed a degree in economics or financial sciences with above-average results.
• You have at least three years of professional experience in tax advisory or within a company operating in an international environment.
• You enjoy analyzing complex business models from a tax perspective and actively supporting digital ways of working.
• You bring strong intercultural competence.
