Team Lead Group Reporting & Controlling (f/m/x)

Our Finance Operations department consists of the following teams: Accounting, Group Reporting & Controlling, Group Accounting & Consolidation, Cash Management & Reconciliation and Business Intelligence Finance.

As Team Lead Group Reporting & Controlling you will lead a team of six professionals that manages the consolidated financial reporting and controlling for the entire AUTO1 Group. This role acts as a bridge between FP&A and management, ensuring financial data is accurate, compliant and timely.

Your new Role

• Leading and developing the reporting & controlling team to achieve high performance and engagement.
• Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group, typically in accordance with IFRS or German GAAP (HGB)
• Calculation of group-wide provisions and IFRS specific adjustments
• Manage projects with Business Intelligence Finance to supervise incoming/outgoing financial data quality and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in reporting and controlling activities
• Act as a key point of contact for senior management, business units, and external auditors regarding group reporting and controlling matters
• Have full overview and responsibility for the accuracy of group Profit & Loss statements by segment, ensuring data integrity and reliability & review and validate accounting entries to maintain high standards of data quality and compliance with group policies
• Prepare and present relevant financial information to management

Your Skills

• University degree in business, economics, finance, or a comparable field.
• At least 3-6 years of relevant experience in Finance, Controlling, Reporting or Audit as well as a deep knowledge of IFRS & Accounting
• You are highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets & SQL
• Strong analytical thinking, data preparation and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experienced in team leading
