What You’ll Do & Who You Are

We are looking for a Team Lead Sales Data & BI to drive our sales analytics and reporting landscape to the next level. In this role, you will combine strong analytical expertise with leadership and cross-functional collaboration to enable data-driven sales steering and decision-making. You will take ownership of sales performance analyses, reporting structures, target and forecast calculations, and the data-based steering of campaigns and vendors. You will help identify sales uplift opportunities and drive the implementation of AI initiatives that create measurable commercial impact. Working closely with Sales, Tech, Product, and Data Engineering teams, you will ensure that our data products, KPIs, and reporting solutions support strategic and operational decision-making.

Job requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Several years of experience in Business Intelligence, Sales Analytics, Data Analysis, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a leadership role or in guiding teams/projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong understanding of sales KPIs, forecasting, target setting, performance reporting, and commercial steering
  • Experience in steering campaigns and external vendors based on data insights
  • Strong interest in and practical exposure to AI-driven use cases in a business or sales context
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into clear business recommendations
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and strong SQL skills
  • Familiarity with working alongside Product, Tech, and Data Engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English and German

Job responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and further develop the Sales Data & BI function, including analytical frameworks, reporting standards, and processes
  • Own and optimize the sales reporting landscape, ensuring reliable, scalable, and actionable insights
  • Deliver in-depth sales analyses to identify performance drivers, risks, opportunities, and sales uplift potential
  • Develop and manage target-setting and forecasting models to support business planning and performance steering
  • Enable the data-driven management of campaigns and vendors, monitoring effectiveness and deriving clear recommendations for action
  • Identify and evaluate AI use cases and initiatives within the sales environment, and support their implementation in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Partner closely with Tech, Product, and Data Engineering teams to define data requirements, improve data quality, and build robust BI solutions
  • Translate business questions into meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and analytical models
  • Support senior stakeholders with decision-ready analyses and presentations
  • Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and data governance within the sales analytics environment
