Teamlead Java (m/w/d)

We’re looking for a technically strong Teamlead (m/f/d) with at least 3 years of leadership experience to take ownership of a complex, security-focused digital platform in the identity and cybersecurity domain.

What you’ll do

• Lead and mentor a development team of ~10 engineers with a strong quality-first mindset
• Take full ownership of the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Drive structured Agile delivery (ScrumBan), predictability, and continuous improvement
• Oversee testing strategies, release governance, and production stability
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and senior stakeholders
• Ensure high engineering standards across Java, Spring Boot, Docker Swarn, Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments
• Stay hands-on in technical topics and troubleshooting (approx. 30%), while focusing primarily on leadership and team development (approx. 70%)

What you bring

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Teamlead / Engineering Manager
• Strong background in Java/ Springboot -based platforms and modern software architectures
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, ScrumBan)
• Experience with automated testing, QA strategies, and structured release processes
• A calm, structured leadership style with the ability to scale teams and systems
• Experience in identity, cybersecurity, or regulated environments is a strong plus
