Our Clinic for Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Medical Director: Prof. Erlacher) at Ulm University Hospital seeks a Technical Assistant (f/m/d) MTLA, BTA, CTA to join our team as soon as possible. The clinic is part of the Universitätsklinikum Ulm, which offers modern patient care with high quality, leading research, and future‑oriented medical teaching and training.

Job Description

We have many years of expertise in caring for children and adolescents and researching disease causes. Key research areas include myelodysplastic syndromes and leukemia, focusing on the genetic and epigenetic basis of disease development.

Your Responsibilities Include

• General lab management


• Assisting with work involving laboratory animals


• Performing standard lab techniques such as cell culture, molecular and cell biological methods


• Supporting staff with routine tasks

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a medical or biological technical assistant or a bachelor's degree in biology or a related field


• Good written and spoken German and English skills


• Completion of a FELASA course is an advantage, but not required


• Works independently and responsibly while being highly team‑oriented and possessing strong organizational skills
