Technical Fleet Manager-Short Sea Coaster

Seacon Shipping Germany GmbH & Co. KG is the German branch office of Chinese Seacon Shipping Group. Seacon provides ship management services from various locations and is among the largest ship managers in the world. Along with our fleet expansion into the coaster segment, we are looking for a Technical Coaster Fleet Manager.

The ideal candidate should hold a Chief Engineer’s license and have seagoing experience in the engine department onboard merchant vessels, as well as initial shore-based experience in technical ship operations. In addition, the candidate should have prior management experience, ideally involving the supervision of technical teams or the coordination of technical operations.

We are looking for a Technical Fleet Manager to manage our 9 short-sea coaster vessels (3,800–5,200 DWT). In addition to overseeing the technical operations and providing optimal technical support, advice, and assistance on all technical matters, the successful applicant will support the company in implementing a new ship management software system. The Technical Manager will also be responsible for reviewing and handling reports from the Technical Superintendent.
