This business is expanding fast in the renewable energy space, with heat pump installations growing across Germany and Europe. The product demand is there. The customers are there. Now the technical foundation needs a clear owner.

You would step in as the go-to technical person for the division - shaping architecture, leading the engineering direction and building the systems that allow the business to scale properly.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and building a scalable web-based customer portal
• Architecting integrations between CRM (Salesforce), ERP (NetSuite) and field management systems
• Designing robust database structures and clean data models
• Replacing fragile automation workflows with API-first system connections
• Defining the future tech stack and tooling landscape
• Being hands‑on in the first 6–12 months while building out a strong technical foundation
• Raising engineering standards and growing the team over time

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience designing APIs and connecting distributed systems
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills
• Architectural mindset - able to design systems, not just features
• Experience recruiting, mentoring or leading engineers
