Technical Project Lead (m/f/d) – Hyperspectral Imaging and Algorithm Development

Your responsibilities

• Technical leadership of the development of a multimodal endoscopic imaging system and assumption of a coordinating role within a funded research consortium
• Development and implementation of algorithms for multimodal image processing, with a focus on hyperspectral and fluorescence imaging
• System integration, including alignment of software and hardware interfaces, as well as calibration of the different imaging modalities
• Planning and execution of preclinical testing activities and active contribution to study preparation
• Data-driven evaluation, validation, and continuous optimization of AI-based analysis methods for biomarker detection using hyperspectral imaging

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics/Photonics, Computer Science, or a comparable technical or scientific field
• Experience in project coordination, preferably within research or publicly funded projects
• Very good command of both German and English (CEFR level C1)
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or MATLAB; solid experience in image processing and data analysis; prior exposure to machine learning or AI-based analytics is a plus
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, a high level of self-organization and sense of responsibility, and strong communication abilities
