Technica Engineering GmbH is a manufacturing electronics company in the field of vehicle development. We develop and produce our own software and electronic products, as well as providing consulting services to our customers for new development and test projects. Our technical specialization in automotive Ethernet and ECU development enables us to offer technical solutions on topics such as embedded ECUs, on‑board networks, ADAS, security, body function, comfort function, gateway and many more.
Responsibilities
- Analyze technical requirements given by the customer or from technology challenges.
- Translate customer needs into feasible technical solutions; propose and present products and solutions to customers and prospects.
- Prepare and execute technical demos or proofs of concept of our products.
- Deliver technical trainings, webinars or onsite workshops to educate our customers on technology and products.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment with market demands.
- Align internally with R&D and product management.
- Prepare technical documentation for proposals.
- Stay informed about local industry trends, technologies and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Automotive Technology, Technology Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.
- Basic experience in customer (internal/external) facing roles.
- Professional experience working in Europe.
- Good understanding of complex electronics systems and their test and validation in automotive settings.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze local market trends and customer behaviour to inform strategic decisions.
- Fluency in English and German is crucial for effective communication with customers.
- Good understanding of in‑vehicle network communication (Ethernet, TCP/IP, SOME/IP, CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
- Previous experience in selling complex automotive electronics test and development products is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of time‑synchronisation (like gPTP) and diagnostics is a plus.
