Technical Sales Engineer – Maritime Systems

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer – Maritime Systems to strengthen our team. In this role, you will prepare technical quotations and act as a key interface between sales, engineering, and customers within the maritime and marine technology sector.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and calculation of technical quotations based on customer requirements
• Analysis of customer inquiries, technical specifications, and tender documents
• Reading, understanding, and evaluating technical drawings, layouts, and schematics
• Technical clarification with internal departments (engineering, service, production)
• Supporting sales teams with technical expertise during customer discussions
• Documentation of technical and commercial offer details
• Contribution to the standardization and continuous improvement of quotation processes

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical education or degree (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or marine engineering)
• Experience in technical sales or preparation of technical offers is highly desirable
• Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Experience in the maritime or marine industry is a strong advantage
• Structured, independent, and detail-oriented working style
• Strong technical understanding combined with commercial awareness
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
• Confident use of MS Office; ERP/CRM experience is an advantage
