TECHNICAL SERVICE & DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER – PU RIGID FOAM (m/w/n)

Role Overview

At Huntsman we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Technical Service & Development Engineer – Polyurethanes (PU) Rigid Foam (m/w/n).

PUR-Systems develops and produces polyurethane systems for the construction, insulation, and packaging industries and is part of the Huntsman Group, one of the world’s leading chemical companies. Our typical customers include medium‑sized businesses as well as large corporations across Europe. The company holds international certifications in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Our modern system house is located in Georgsmarienhütte, Germany. However, the position can be performed in a hybrid or fully remote setup, ideally from anywhere within Germany. This role involves travel across Europe, with customer visits making up to 50% of your time.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and application guidance.
• Collaborate closely with the development team and sales department, who provide active support for this diverse and demanding role.

Experience and Competencies

• A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in the field of polyurethanes (ideally with exposure to rigid foams).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• A strong commitment to safety and quality.
• An independent and self‑reliant working style.
• A high level of flexibility and resilience.
• Full fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
