What You’ll Do

As a Technical Services Expert , you will be a technical advisor helping customers accelerate their cloud transformation journey with tailored-to-fit cloud solutions that deliver business value and outcomes. This includes assessing the customer’s business requirements for their SAP landscape and navigating and mitigating cloud adoption challenges together with our business network partners.

This will include understanding the business transformation goals and challenges of our customers, suggesting solutions and services, and identifying and positioning SAP Global Cloud Operations portfolio offerings. You will ensure smooth transitions by identifying issues, finding solutions, designing optimal configurations to maximize performance and availability and act as an escalation point for technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Understand the customer business, goals and challenges in order to suggest solutions & services
• Identify and position services of SAP Global Cloud Operations that deliver value to the customer from portfolio
• Identify top issues, define and implement the action items across customer landscape
• Design optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability
• Drive technology discussions, innovations and recognized as the escalation point for technical issues

What You Bring

To be successful in this role you will need to have expertise in SAP technologies and products with a comprehensive knowledge of SAP Basis or S/4HANA architecture , conversion, migration path, methodology and tools or SAP HANA.

You Will Also Need To Have

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, German is a plus
• 10+ years of experience in SAP Technology Consulting with at least 5 years of experience in customer facing roles
• Comprehensive knowledge on S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology and tools, SAP HANA
• Understanding of SAP High Availability or Disaster Recovery architecture, network and virtual technologies (load-balancer, virtual machine)
• Deep experience in technical planning, implementation, configuration and integration of SAP solutions
• Expertise on SAP Technologies and Products with solid know‑how on hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus)
