Technical Solutions Manager–MV for Data Centers, PV & BESS

As Daqo continues to grow in Europe, we are looking for a Technical Solutions Manager (MV) to strengthen our local technical capability and support customers across the region. This role is based in Germany (preferably near Frankfurt) and serves as a technical hub for European projects , supporting not only Germany but also customers and projects across Europe (including utilities, EPCs, data centers, PV and BESS developers, and industrial clients).

Your mission is to act as Daqo’s technical interface in Europe, leading pre-sales solution design and technical support (approx. 80%) , while providing selected after-sales and commissioning support (approx. 20%) .

This is a hands-on role that combines technical ownership, customer interaction, and close cross-functional collaboration with HQ engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical solutions lead for MV products (switchgear, transformers, RMUs) for European customer projects , with Germany as the primary base
• Support sales and business development teams with:
• Technical proposals
• System configurations for PV, BESS, data centers, industrial distribution, and grid projects
• Translate customer requirements into compliant technical solutions aligned with:
• Relevant European and local standards (e.g., IEC, DIN, VDE and other country-specific requirements)
• Utility-specific technical guidelines
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and solution discussions to utilities, EPCs, and key customers across Europe
• Support product localization and adaptation based on European grid and application needs
• Gather customer and market feedback to support product improvement and roadmap alignment with HQ
• Provide remote and on-site technical support for MV equipment (10–36 kV) deployed across Europe
• Support:
• Grid integration
• On-site or remote commissioning
• Troubleshooting and fault analysis
• Coordinate warranty cases, technical documentation, and compliance-related matters
• Support customer training sessions in German, both on-site and online
• Contribute to building a scalable and market-leading local service and support framework

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• 3+ years of experience in MV systems, grid infrastructure, or energy projects (Germany and/or Europe)
• Strong experience working with utilities, EPCs, system integrators, or industrial customers
• Solid knowledge of MV products and systems, including: MV switchgear, transformers, RMUs
• Fluent German and English required
• Based in Germany (preferably Frankfurt area) or willing to relocate
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with HQ engineering, sales, and operations teams
