They are therefore seeking an experienced Senior Technical Trainer to build and deliver structured training programs for engineers and technical specialists working with advanced metrology equipment.

The Role

As a Senior Technical Trainer , you will play a key role in transferring technical knowledge across the organisation and supporting the development of global engineering teams.

You will work closely with subject matter experts in engineering, product management, and service to capture complex technical knowledge and transform it into structured, effective training programmes.

The role combines hands‑on technical training with the development of learning materials, ensuring both new and experienced employees can build the expertise required to work with complex semiconductor equipment.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing and delivering structured technical training programmes for engineers and technical staff.
• Developing training materials including presentations, documentation, and digital learning content.
• Creating training pathways across different levels (beginner, intermediate, and expert).
• Delivering classroom and hands‑on training using real production systems and equipment.
• Capturing knowledge from internal experts and translating it into clear and structured learning modules.
• Supporting the development of a structured internal training environment and long‑term learning framework.
• Training international service teams and technical specialists working with complex metrology systems.
• Collaborating with engineering, R&D, and product management teams to ensure training reflects the latest technologies and product updates.
• Supporting occasional international training sessions for global teams when required.

About You

We are looking for a technically strong professional who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others develop their expertise.

• Degree in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience working with complex technical equipment in fields such as semiconductor manufacturing, metrology, materials characterisation, or precision instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of how advanced technical systems operate and are applied in real‑world environments.
• Experience delivering technical training, mentoring engineers, or transferring technical knowledge within an organisation.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and structured way.
• Highly organised with the ability to build structured learning programmes and training documentation.
• Comfortable working closely with engineers, technical specialists, and international teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally on occasion to support training activities.
• Fluent in German and English.
