Telecom Project Manager – National Satellite Constellation (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary project and sub-project teams
• Plan, organise, and moderate regular project meetings and reviews
• Act as the primary interface to Program Management, customers, and suppliers
• Monitor and control project scope, schedule, costs, risks, and quality
• Ensure structured and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders
• Define and manage project schedules, milestones, and budget allocation
• Plan and secure project resources in close coordination with line managers and HR
• Implement OHB risk management processes and drive mitigation actions
• Prepare, assign, and monitor work orders for operational teams
• Support the team operationally when required to ensure project success

Your Profile

• University degree in Engineering (e.g. Aerospace, Electrical, Telecommunications) or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as Project Manager or Sub-Project Manager in space or complex technical projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to assert decisions
• High sense of ownership, responsibility, and structured working approach
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new technical domains
• Team-oriented, resilient, and comfortable working in dynamic environments
• Fluent English language skills; German proficiency required
• Confident use of MS Office and project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Planisware)
• Willingness to travel as required
• Project management certification (e.g. IPMA) is an advantage
