Tendering Specialist (Eur 80-100k)

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal process: Take ownership from initial bid to final contract. Drive the process and ensure delivery of competitive, high-quality proposals that support profitable growth.
• Prepare compelling offers: Develop commercially, legally, and technically optimized proposals tailored to customer needs.
• Define project scope: Review and analyze customer requirements and incorporate them into proposals and solution concepts in close collaboration with internal departments.
• Cost estimation: Prepare cost calculations by integrating supplier quotations, considering both technical and commercial aspects to create value-based offers.
• Plan and submit proposals: Ensure timely submission by managing administrative processes and coordinating technical and commercial support with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support sales and negotiations: Provide technical expertise in early project phases and actively contribute to contract negotiations.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification, ideally with a focus on power engineering
• Technical expertise and experience: Strong understanding of substation automation solutions, control and protection systems; ideally experience in sales, tendering, and project management
• Market knowledge: Familiarity with the grid automation market and its latest developments
• Languages: Fluent in German with good English skills for cross-border communication
