Test & Automation Engineer – Control Systems (f/m/d) Required

This Position reports to: R&D Team Lead.

The work model for the role is: hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute functional and integration tests to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Create test specifications based on a thorough understanding of the system under test and its requirements.
• Design, set up, and maintain test systems and environments with a focus on achieving a high level of automation.
• Analyze test results and contribute to root cause analysis in close collaboration with the team.
• Prepare test reports and maintain test documentation.

Qualifications For The Role

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• At least three years of professional experience in embedded software testing.
• Experience with fieldbus systems, preferably PROFINET and OPC UA.
• Solid knowledge of test and analysis tools as well as virtualization software.
• Business‑fluent English skills and fluent German skills in spoken and written communication.
• Strong team spirit, a solution‑oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills.
