Test Engineer – Avionic Software Integration Test (d/f/m)

Airbus Defence and Space Software Integration invites you to take on a challenging role with Eurofighter Software Integration, where you will help safeguard two of the most critical mission computers on the aircraft. Your mission will be to detect problems early, support system and software designers, and prepare the qualification of the software, while enjoying a flexible, agile, and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify that customer requirements have been correctly and fully implemented in the Eurofighter Avionics and mature the product for the intended mission
• Cooperate closely with colleagues from preceding and following development phases
• Translate requirements into test cases
• Run tests regularly and identify problems early
• Contribute to the qualification of the software in accordance with air law

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Completed studies in electrical/aeronautical engineering, physics or computer science
• Experience in developing embedded, safety‑critical systems, ideally with respect to DO178, V‑Modell, EASA Part 21J, ZDv 1525A or ISO26262
• Ambition to familiarize with and critically evaluate complex technical issues
• Ability to coordinate small, cross‑functional project teams
• Ability to work autonomously and precisely, and openness to agile software engineering
