Title Senior Scaffold Designer

Overview

Design scaffold and shoring systems, providing engineering guidance for minor and major scaffold projects across the UK; specifically providing advanced and special solutions working both independently and as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Solution Team and the Engineering Manager in maintaining/producing high design standards and special solutions in the engineering performance of PERI UK
• Lead complex projects and deal with the interface between the technical offices, customers and logistics
• Visit site to deal with complex site issues or safety critical items; attending customer meetings when necessary
• Provide innovative solutions and contribute in product development on scaffold and shoring applications
• Support tender development and delivery
• Plan, track project progress and keep costs under control
• Supervise and coordinate assigned engineering section activities and operations within assigned engineering section

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering
• Health and Safety Knowledge
• CDM 2015 Knowledge
• Working with Eurocodes and BS’s and NASC Technical Guidance
