Total Cost Management Data Scientist (m/f/div) - Purchasing - On-site

  • Support on alignment between central purchasing and BA Management on material budget including opportunities and risks;
  • Support on Big Data analytics, Purchasing KPI, Close the Gap and Material Strategy on a BA level;
  • Support with transparent data analytics to ensure efficient evaluation of target deviations and definition of countermeasures;
  • Support and update a monthly forecast report for annual price reductions vs. budget, including risks and opportunities;
  • Responsibility for Plant Purchasing KPI;
  • Support for all financial and nonfinancial PUR KPIs for AM;
  • Support to align, define and implement the global Purchasing strategy with the BU specific material strategy including knowledge transfer Support for Purchasing Redesign to cost measures as well as other cost reduction programs Close the gap (Shared Responsibility);
  • Provide the big picture for purchasing topics by creating summaries and complex visualizations of selected topics e.g. MLCC, Shares, Legacy, Material Strategy;
  • Support share implementation;
  • Support to setup and define structured reporting, methods and guidelines;
  • Support and follow up activities to materialize savings through tracking cash arrivals out of New Sourcing and APRD agreements;
  • Support to new members landing in TCM.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering, IT or economic sciences;
  • Work experience in Purchasing/Logistics/Project Management/IT; automotive experience preferred;
  • Safe handling of Microsoft Office in particular Power BI;
  • KNIME knowledge preferable;
  • Knowledge of SAP/R3;
  • Business fluent in English (verbal & written);
  • Resilience; self-motivation and intercultural competence;
  • Teamand communication skills.
