Your mission

As a Trade Marketeer (Visual Merchandising) for the DACH region, you will be an essential part of the Trade Marketing Team at Dorel Juvenile Europe (DJE). In this role, everything revolves around the shopper and the shop floor — creating inspiring and effective in-store environments that showcase our brands at their best at our retail partners. You will combine creative visual merchandising with structured POS planning, project coordination, and instore execution. This role includes regular travel to stores, as well as a significant amount of laptop-based work for planning, reporting, and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Execute a flawless product presentation in Shop-in-Shop/Retail for DJE.
• Plan and implement POS concepts end to end, from initial layout and assortment definition to in store execution.
• Translate global VM and POS guidelines into local plans, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
• Collaborate with the sales/ trade team to deliver available space and define the portfolio of products that must be on display for each store.
• Act as a project coordinator and as an interface between the corporate architecture team, the external suppliers, the retailers & the sales/ trade team.
• Lead VM implementations across multiple monobrand and key multibrand spaces in the assigned area/region in order to ensure a high level of consistency across touchpoints.
• Maintain the performance of each store by visiting our retailers and working on continuous improvement.
• Create extensive and meaningful implementation reports as well as benchmark analyses to guarantee maximum local transparency at global level.
• Lead the In-Store marketing campaigns' execution as well as contribute to an optimized consumer journey.
• Balance hands on store visits with laptop-based planning, coordination, and reporting.
• Be the eyes & ears of DJE at retail and execute innovative plans for new store opening events.

Your profile

• Ideally completed a degree in interior design, visual merchandising or similar education.
• 2+ of relevant work experience ideally within b2b fairs, furniture/ retail, carpenter, agencies and/or other related fields.
• Passionate about all things in retail: consumer experience, products and store design, paired with executional excellence and deep understanding of retail KPIs.
• Ambition and flexibility to build something new with hands-on, start-up and team player attitude.
• C2 proficiency in German, and good communication skills in English.
• Ideally, experience as a project manager, leading direct in-house teams or freelancers and external agencies to work in unison.
• Great networker, deeply rooted in and connected to local culture, events & trends.
• Willingness to commute between several retail doors across different regions.
• Previous experience working in consumer Fairs, coordinating projects in terms of planning & building.
• Holding a Truck 7.5t driving license is beneficial.
