We are looking for you to join our corporate headquarters in Hamburg's HafenCity on September 1, 2026.

Your New Job Includes

As a trainee in purchasing, you will take on responsibility in an international environment right from the start of our 18-month program.

• You will play an active role in shaping our product range and ensure that we continue to surprise and delight travelers worldwide.
• You will learn about different purchasing areas and their interfaces, as well as all processes.
• You will take on your own projects with responsibility and face a variety of challenges, including internationally, e.g., at our retail locations or in our subsidiaries.
• You observe the market, analyze trends, and identify new products and innovations, from perfumes and cosmetics to confectionery and delicacies to fashion, accessories, wines, spirits, and tobacco.
• You communicate confidently and purposefully with international business partners and learn how to conduct successful negotiations.
• You work on strategic issues such as market adjustments, calculations, and pricing strategies.

Preferred Profile

Your job is demanding. That's why we are too when it comes to selecting our trainees. Here's what we're looking for:

• A completed degree with a focus on economics.
• At least 6 months of practical experience, ideally in purchasing, e.g., through internships or working student positions.
• Software skills: confident use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; initial experience with SAP is a plus, but not a must.
• Intercultural mindset: experience abroad (e.g., internship or semester abroad) and very good German and English skills.
• Analytical thinking, a confident manner, and persuasiveness.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to get to know our international locations worldwide.
