Translator Intern / Praktikum als Übersetzer

We are recruiting German to English Translator Intern with a finance background to support our global teams with accurate, high‑quality translation across all client‑facing and internal communication, based in Darmstadt.

This role goes beyond language translation — it requires someone who can understand financial research and analytics concepts, interpret technical content, and support meeting preparation, document preparation and review. The ideal candidate should have strong bilingual capabilities (English and German) and a solid academic foundation in finance, accounting, or business.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate and localize financial, technical, and project related documents between English and German with a high degree of accuracy
• Translate emails, meeting notes, presentations, financial comments, and communication materials
• Maintain confidentiality and sensitive information while handling documents
• Assist with general documentation, summarization, and preparation of internal materials
• Support preparation of internal review materials, summaries, and general documentation

Required Qualifications

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Strong command of both English and German (written and spoken)
• Good understanding of financial terminology and the ability to interpret numeric/analytical content
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, strong written communication skills for preparing clear and structured notes
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under time pressure
