The Role

We are looking for an Urban Planner / Stadtplaner (m/f/d) to support the development of renewable energy projects in Germany, with a strong focus on photovoltaic infrastructure and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop urban projects linked to renewable energy (especially photovoltaic).
• Coordinate with local and regional authorities to secure permits and licenses.
• Prepare urban and environmental planning documentation in compliance with German and EU regulations.
• Supervise impact studies and adapt projects to local planning requirements.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, environmental, legal, ESG).

Requirements

• University degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Geography, Environmental Sciences or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in urban planning or infrastructure projects.
• Solid knowledge of German urban and environmental regulations .
• Native or C2 German and advanced English (C1) .
• Legal and professional authority to sign off and certify projects .
• Strong coordination, communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in renewable energy projects is a plus.
