The Opportunity

Finatal are retained by an international, Tier 1 private equity–backed leader in real estate and financial services solutions which requires a Value Creation Manager (German speaker) to support its next phase of growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone in consulting (at Associate/ Senior Associate / Consultant level or equivalent) to move into a hands‑on role within a private equity‑backed business.

Operating across 14+ countries, the group delivers technology‑enabled services spanning valuation, risk & advisory, data intelligence, and software platforms. With a strong emphasis on proprietary technology and data‑driven insights, the business is well‑positioned for continued expansion.

This is a high‑visibility role offering direct exposure to senior leadership and shareholders, alongside the opportunity to shape and execute strategic initiatives within a fast‑growing, international environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Global Head of Value Creation (Executive Committee member), with close interaction with global business unit leaders, you will play a central role in driving strategic initiatives across the group—particularly within its software and valuation/advisory platforms in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Partnering with senior stakeholders to define and execute strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment on objectives, timelines, and delivery
• Monitoring and evaluating value creation programmes, assessing financial and operational impact and ROI
• Leading a flagship AI‑enabled automation programme central to the evolution of the group’s core product offering
• Producing high‑quality strategic reporting for senior leadership, synthesising financial, operational, and performance data
• Conducting ad‑hoc strategic and financial analyses to support decision‑making
• Preparing clear, compelling materials for executive audiences, including presentations and recommendations

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 4–5+ years’ experience in strategy consulting (top‑tier, Big 4 strategy, or leading boutiques) and/or within a private equity–backed business
• Exposure to software, technology, or data‑led business models
• Proven experience leading cross‑functional transformation or innovation initiatives
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with financial modelling
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with executive presence
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (Think‑cell and Power BI advantageous)
• Native German speaker with fluent English; additional European languages are a plus
