What you\'ll be doing

We are looking for a Part-time Freelance Video Editor to join the getquin team immediately. In this role, you will own our content multiplication across organic and paid channels, combining video editing with animation-driven creative. Your focus will be producing high-quality long-form YouTube episodes, deconstructing them into engaging short-form assets, and creating performant paid media videos to maximize the impact of every recording and creative concept, directly supporting our growth across platforms.

• Create weekly high-performing short-form videos for paid social channels, including animation-driven creatives, motion graphics, and dynamic overlays.
• Clean and enhance product screen recordings for ads, including precise cropping, smooth zooms, and clear visual focus on key interactions.
• Optimize pacing, hooks, and formats based on platform-specific best practices and performance data.
• Leverage stock and motion libraries to efficiently produce scalable ad creatives.
• Edit weekly high-quality long-form YouTube videos.
• Repurpose long-form recordings into engaging Shorts and Reels for YouTube and Instagram.
• Maintain a consistent visual style through templates and a lightweight style guide.

What we are looking for

You might be a fit if:

• You have 2–4 years of experience as a video editor, ideally working with social media or digital content.
• You are a master of your tools - you have advanced experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and mobile-first tools like CapCut.
• Comfortable using stock and motion libraries such as Envato Elements, Motion Array, or Storyblocks.
• You understand platform mechanics - you have a deep understanding of platform-specific requirements for Instagram Reels and YouTube (Shorts and long-form).
• You have a proven portfolio - you can demonstrate your ability to handle vertical short-form content, medium-length episodes, and scripted source material.
• You are ready for an immediate start - we are looking for someone to join the team and make an impact right away.
• You are fluent in English, German is a strong plus
