The VIE contract in short :

According Business France's eligibility conditions, the Volontariat International en Entreprise (VIE) is an assignment in a French company operating overseas for professionals between theage of 18 and 28 who are European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Iceland und Liechtenstein)nationals.

The team and mission :

The Management Control team is part of Finance and is responsible for corporate controlling. You will be integrated in a team of 6 people that will support you to successfully archive your goals.

Your main missions will be the following:

• Support in preparing the monthly-/quarterly- and yearly closings (P&L)
• Analysis and commenting of the financial results
• Assistance in preparing the budget of the next year and in forecasts of the current year
• Comparisons of budget figures with actual figures on cost center level
• Responsible for handling Controlling tools like MIK, Quantum & Sirius
• Assistance regarding projects in Controlling (Implementing of SAP)
• Reply to ad-hoc enquiries from Finance group or internal departments

In this department, combined banking and controlling knowledge is preferable for a better understanding of the working environment.

Master's Degree in Business Administration / Business Economics (favorably focus on banking)

0 - 2 ans

A first experience (internship, apprenticeship or full-time job) in Controlling and/or Banking would be highly appreciated

Hard Skills:

• Good knowledge of banking industry
• Good knowledge in accounting (IFRS)
• Experience in project oriented working approach

Soft Skills:

• Resilience and team spirit
• High solution orientation and strong analytical skills

Very good skills in Excel(including VBA) and Access

Langues

English: Fluent ; German: Basic/intermediate level (and strong motivation to improve it)
