Stellenbeschreibung:

To manage and direct the daily finance and administrative duties of the cooperative in a manner that advances the finance position of the Cooperative and promotes the strategic positions of the President/CEO and the Board of Directors.

Must possess an effective working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, including cost accounting, budgeting, and auditing. Must have basic knowledge of financial matters, including investment trends. Must maintain a current knowledge of changing industry and economic trends. Should have an adequate knowledge of the operation of the Cooperative, public relations, administration, the rural electric program and the Cooperative’s policies and objectives.

Must possess the skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the President/CEO, public, members, employees, businesses, etc. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and accurately. Must be able to supervise and motivate personnel. Must be able to develop plans, programs, budgets, procedures, and reports in assigned areas of responsibility and identify and achieve measurable performance criteria. Must have a valid South Carolina Driver’s license.

Most of the normal duties will be performed inside in a climate controlled office. The noise level is low and the work area is not crowded. Overtime may be required to complete duties. Assistance will be expected during major outages.

Job requires frequent sitting, standing and walking, bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting to perform various responsibilities of the position. Requires repetitive motion with hands and fingers such as dialing and keyboarding. Will involve interaction with other employees and/or the public with frequent interruptions.

Bachelor’s Degree in finance and accounting, business administration, or closely related curriculum required. A master’s degree and/or CPA certification is preferred but not required.

A minimum of eight years of increasingly responsible finance, accounting and managerial experience required. Experience in utility accounting procedures and operations is desired. An exceptional educational background may be considered for a portion of the experience requirements.
