Wanted: Sales Manager for Bertling Hamburg, Germany

Our team in Hamburg is looking for a Senior Sales Manager to join their team. Are you up for a new challenge and interested to become part of our growing team?

The successful applicant will be involved with:

• Independent development of project customers in Germany and Central Europe
• Design of tailor-made transport solutions in close cooperation with our experts in chartering, ocean freight, air freight, and engineering
• Sales reporting in our own CRM – your No. 1 work tool
• Offer presentations, follow-up negotiations, and contract closure
• Collaboration with the global Bertling and Key Account Network for the implementation and scaling of projects
• Representation of the company at trade fairs, conferences, events, and on social media
• Market observation and analysis to identify new business opportunities
• Help shape the global sales concept

The successful applicant will have/be:

• Several years of experience in selling freight forwarding or logistics services (FCL, LCL, project cargo, or air freight)
• Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills
• Enjoyment in customer interaction, excellent communication skills, and confident appearance
• Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented way of working – with room for development
• Digital affinity in working with Microsoft Office tools and CRM processes
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel, ideally with an existing network
