Working Student – Software Development (React)

MEHRWERK is an innovative software company based in Karlsruhe and Berlin, Germany. We build cutting-edge B2B software for process optimization with our process mining platform mpmX. To support our team, we are looking for a Working Student in Software Development (React) to help shape the future of process optimization.

Your new job
You will be working on the user interface of a modern B2B solution that helps companies analyze and improve their business processes through process mining. Although the tasks our end users solve are complex, your mission will be to make them intuitive, efficient, and even enjoyable to work with.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and improve the UI with a modern tech stack (in particular React, TypeScript and related frameworks).
• Contribute to quality assurance and testing to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Support aspects of UI/UX design to help make complex processes easy to understand.
• Gain insights into how innovative B2B products are built from the ground up.

Your responsibilities

• Implement new features and improvements in our React-based frontend.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to transform user needs into intuitive solutions.
• Participate in testing and QA activities.
• Support prototyping and experiments for new concepts.

What you bring

• You are enrolled at a university (Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field).
• You have hands-on experience with frontend development, especially React.
• You are curious about process mining, business processes, BI, and B2B products (experience is not required).
• You are eager to learn, open to feedback, and enjoy working in a team.
