Xiaomi EV - Senior Cross-Disciplinary R&D Project Manager

【Responsibilities】 Oversee diverse R&D project portfolios (technology development, process optimization, innovation initiatives), creating cross-functional resource allocation strategies. Build global collaboration frameworks, leading technical alignment meetings between China-EU-Global teams while adapting to cultural/workflow differences. Accelerate technology industrialization by establishing pathways from proof-of-concept to production, balancing innovation with business needs. Manage knowledge transfer systems across borders through workshops and digital platforms to harmonize technical standards. Handle complex project mix including: R&D process standardization and digital tool deployment; Overseas R&D center infrastructure upgrades; Cross-border innovation establishment and operations.

【Requirements】 Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM disciplines (engineering, computer science). 6+ years managing R&D projects, with hands-on experience. Proficient in project management tools (MS Project/Jira/PLM systems), capable of designing collaboration structures for cross-time zone teams. Basic technical feasibility assessment skills, able to coordinate multi-domain experts for solution evaluation. Demonstrated cross-cultural communication ability, with successful track record in China-EU joint project delivery (case examples required). Bilingual proficiency (Chinese/English), able to facilitate technical reviews and produce bilingual project documentation, German is a plus. Full lifecycle project management experience from requirement analysis to delivery, skilled in identifying critical paths and resolving resource conflicts.
