YTTP Head Coach Functional - Berlin

With our Reformer Studios, we’ve built one of the leading boutique Reformer Pilates concepts, with established locations across the country including Berlin (Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain, and Charlottenburg).

Now, we’re taking the next big step: launching a bold new Functional Training concept that expands our philosophy beyond Reformer combining strength, performance, and community in a new way.

The Role:

Work Scope & Flexibility:

We envision the Head Coach Functional role as a position with 30–35 hours per week dedicated to studio and office management responsibilities.

In addition, you will have the flexibility to decide how many coaching sessions you would like to take on per week – typically around 5–10 classes, depending on your preferred workload (separately compensated).

Growth Opportunities:

We see this role as the starting point of a long-term journey within YTTP.

After beginning as a Head Coach / Studio Lead, there is a clear path toward becoming a Regional Lead, overseeing multiple Functional studios across Berlin (approximately 4–6 locations).

Looking further ahead, there is also the opportunity to step into a City Lead role for the entire Functional division, taking on broader operational and business responsibilities.

Given our rapid growth, we expect additional opportunities to emerge along the way.

Tasks

• Manage and organize all of the daily class operations
• Coach classes with a focus on technique, progression, and motivation
• Build, lead, and develop your local trainer team
• Improve and evolve our class formats and quality standards
• Ensure member satisfaction and longterm retention
• Plan and execute local community events
• Be the face and ambassador of our Functional concept within the Berlin community
• Take ownership of building, growing, and maintaining a strong and engaged local community

Requirements

• Experience as a Head Coach, Lead Coach, or in a comparable leadership role in the fitness industry
• Professional qualification in Functional Training (e.g. NSCA-CPT, Strength & Conditioning, or similar certifications)
• Passion for coaching, community building, and team leadership
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop a team
• Highly organized, with a structured and self-driven way of working
• Ability to build and implement processes that ensure smooth and efficient studio operations
• Hands-on mentality, strong organizational skills, and a strong sense of ownership
