Head of Solutions Engineering – DACH & Nordics

About Neural Concept

Engineering is at an inflection point. The teams defining the next generation of aircraft, electric vehicles, and consumer products are not just designing faster, they are designing fundamentally differently, with AI embedded at the core of their workflows.

Neural Concept builds the Engineering AI platform that makes this possible. We help the world’s leading engineering teams accelerate development, improve product outcomes, and scale engineering capacity, turning months of simulation into days, and engineering intuition into data-driven insight.

We work with elite engineering teams in Automotive, Aerospace, High-Tech and Electronics, and advanced manufacturing, where the stakes are high, the complexity is rising, and the pressure to innovate has never been greater. We are changing how engineers work. Come build that future with us.

About the Role

This is a high-bar role for a leader who has operated in technically complex, high-stakes environments and is ready to take on a larger mandate.

As the Head of Solutions Engineering (DACH & Nordics), you will lead the technical direction of NC’s most important customer engagements across the region. You will uncover the problems worth solving, shape AI transformation roadmaps, and turn technical possibility into a credible path to adoption.

You will also build and develop the regional Solutions Engineering team, setting the standard for technical consulting and raising the quality of every engagement.

What You’ll Do

Lead discovery with engineering and executive stakeholders, turning complex challenges into clear technical strategies.
Define customer-specific AI roadmaps connected to real engineering priorities.
Shape and co‑own technically rigorous Statements of Work, grounded in customer workflows, data, and adoption plans.
Build, coach, and lead the regional Solutions Engineering team, managing standards, capacity, and complex escalations.
Partner with Sales and Forward Deployed Engineering to move from technical strategy into delivery.
Bring customer insight back to Product and R&D.

Who You Are

You have built credibility by taking responsibility for difficult problems and finding a way forward when the obvious path fails.

You have an engineering background with deep familiarity with CAD, CAE, simulation, and real engineering workflows.
You earn trust with simulation engineers and executive leaders because you understand their problems and communicate with precision.
You create structure in ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and move complex work forward with urgency.
You are a proven people leader who builds strong teams, gives direct feedback, and raises the bar.
You have 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, pre‑sales, or a related client‑facing role.
You are professionally fluent in German and English.

What Will Set You Apart

Hands‑on experience across the simulation workflow, from CAD through post‑processing and automation.
Strong Python skills and experience with ML or deep learning workflows through deployment.
The ability to conduct technical discovery at a level respected by simulation engineers.
Experience building end‑to‑end engineering workflow prototypes.
Experience shaping enterprise transformation programs or leading Solutions Engineering teams.

What You Get

Work with a world‑class technology team: our engineers are top‑notch, and we always aim for excellence.
Benefit from a competitive salary and rewarding opportunities as we continue to scale.
Thrive in a collaborative, multicultural environment where your work is visible and recognized.
Develop professionally alongside talented colleagues who share knowledge freely and support one another.
Make a global impact by helping customers shift to AI-assisted design, making innovation faster, smarter, and more sustainable.
Balance life and work with a hybrid model and flexible hours—we care about results, not rigid schedules.

We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment where you can thrive.
