We pioneered the Organic SolidFlow battery

CMBlu Energy is on an exciting journey towards becoming a global cleantech company . Our mission is to enable unlimited energy storage modelled on nature - for everyone , worldwide .

What are SolidFlow batteries ?

SolidFlow batteries store energy in organic molecules . The absence of explosive materials makes them safe, the use of socially and ecologically conflict-free raw materials makes them sustainable and the almost unlimited availability of materials makes them scalable and cheap to procure . This makes our patented SolidFlow technology a game changer in the development of a global climate -neutral energy system .

From start-up to scale-up : we're tackling it together

CMBlu Energy is developing from a start-up focussing on research into a manufacturing scale-up that is on its way to series production . Around 240 employees are working towards this goal at CMBlu Energy. Our head office is in Alzenau near Frankfurt, with a branch office in Obernburg. There are also subsidiaries in Athens, Greece and Petaluma, USA.
