Role Summary

The Europe Sales Director role sits within the EMEA team and is responsible for securing new-logo business for Daon through both direct and partner-led sales channels. The successful candidate will play a lead role in driving revenue growth by identifying, acquiring and developing new customers and strategic partners.

The role has a particular focus on helping customers prepare for the EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (AMLR), which applies from 10 July 2027.

Key target markets include financial institutions, fintech, digital banks, public sector, and Fortune 1000 customers across gaming, telecoms, public sector and technology, as well as other companies agreed with the management team.

The role will involve opportunity sourcing, qualification and pipeline development through networking, targeted outreach, opportunity pursuit, market knowledge and market development campaigns.

Buyers are typically heads of fraud, security, compliance and digital, along with the executives above them. They are buying lower fraud losses, faster customer onboarding and regulatory compliance, and the successful candidate will sell in those terms.

The successful candidate will build most of their own pipeline through research, a clear point of view on each target account and direct outreach to senior decision makers.

The role reports directly to the VP Sales Europe.
