Read this first - two non-negotiables

Go is the job, not a bonus skill. We're only considering candidates with 5+ years of hands-on, production experience in Go. If Go isn't (one of) your primary languages, this role won't be a match - and we'd rather save you the time. You must live in a European timezone (UTC-1 to UTC+3). This is a hard requirement. Applications from outside this range won't be considered, regardless of how strong the profile is.

Who we are

We're Jobtome ( ) - an HR Tech company building the modern web applications that companies use to run complex hiring and recruitment workflows at scale. Our products are highly interactive, data-driven, and built for real-world usage - not demos. We work with a strong product mindset, short feedback loops, and a pragmatic engineering culture: quality, ownership, and code we're still proud of a year from now.

The role

You'll join our engineering team as a Senior Go Backend Developer and take real ownership of critical backend systems and services - not ticket-pushing, actual ownership. You'll design, build, and evolve the backend services that power our products, weigh in on architectural decisions, improve system reliability, and help shape how backend engineering is done across the company. This is a hands-on senior role: you'll write production Go every day and be deeply involved in technical decisions that have real impact.
