Kraken Robotics is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Rostock, Germany location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Development and design of electronic assemblies with a focus on PCB design and circuit board development
Creation of schematics, PCB layouts, manufacturing data, bill of materials, and technical documentation in collaboration with the development team
Re-engineering and optimization of existing circuit boards, electronic assemblies, and circuits
Selection and evaluation of electronic components, taking into account function, manufacturability, and cost
Conducting and supporting electrical testing, commissioning, and failure analysis on assemblies and prototypes
Technical coordination with production, development, and customer service regarding product-specific issues
Ensuring development complies with relevant norms, standards, and design guidelines
Documenting development status, changes, and technical decisions

Qualifications and Experience:

Practical experience in PCB design and the development of printed circuit boards
Knowledge of schematic design, layout development, and electronic circuits
Experience with CAD/EDA tools for PCB development is a plus
Basic knowledge of electrical testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic assemblies
Understanding of electronic assembly manufacturing processes and DFM/DFT considerations
German and English at least at the B2 level
Structured, solution-oriented, and team-oriented approach to work
