KugelAudio is a Berlin-based deeptech startup building its own Voice AI models and infrastructure.

We started as a research project at the Hasso Plattner Institute and joined Y Combinator in 2026. Today, we work with leading enterprises, telecom providers, and technology platforms across Germany.

We are one of the first teams in Europe building production-grade Voice AI models ourselves. Over the coming months, we will launch additional models across the Voice AI stack.

Our Mission

We believe voice will become one of the primary interfaces between humans and software.

Our mission is to build the Voice AI infrastructure for that future, with the quality, reliability, control, and data sovereignty enterprises need to deploy Voice AI in production.

Our ambition is simple:

We want voice interfaces around the world to be built on KugelAudio.

About the Role

You will own enterprise opportunities from the first conversation to signed contract.

This is a full-cycle sales role with technical depth.

Our customers often already use platforms such as Parloa, Cognigy, or other contact-center and AI infrastructure. You need to understand how their Voice AI stack works, where KugelAudio fits, which stakeholders matter, and how to move the opportunity forward.

Sometimes you will sell directly to the enterprise. Sometimes you will work together with a platform partner. Often, it will be both.

Sales is still heavily founder-led, but the motion already works. Over the past six months, we have consistently generated a double-digit number of sales meetings per week.

You will work directly with the founder, learn the playbooks that already work, improve them, and help turn them into a scalable sales organization.

And when there are not enough inbound or market signals, you create pipeline yourself.

What You’ll Do

Own enterprise deals end to end
Build pipeline through outbound, events, inbound, and market signals
Run discovery, demos, technical discovery, and evaluations
Understand customer architecture and existing platforms
Work with technical and executive stakeholders
Coordinate integrations and joint opportunities with technology partners
Navigate security, procurement, and commercial negotiations
Keep pipeline and forecasts accurate
Help build the sales processes future KugelAudio sellers will use

You Might Be a Fit If

You speak German at native or bilingual level
You are based in Berlin or willing to relocate
You are comfortable working on-site
You have experience selling technical products, ideally into enterprises
You are comfortable with outbound and cold calling
You can communicate with engineers as well as executives
You are execution-driven, persistent, and highly accountable
You want ownership rather than a narrow sales role

A traditional AE background is not required. We are also interested in former founders, Sales Engineers, GTM builders, and technical people with strong commercial instincts.

Why Join

You are joining before the sales organization is built.

The founder-led motion already works.

You will sell technology we build ourselves, not a wrapper around someone else’s API.

And our current models are only the beginning.

You will work directly with the founders, own your opportunities, and have real influence on how KugelAudio goes to market.

Competitive base salary, performance-based variable compensation, and equity.

Berlin only. Native-level German required.
