Technical Sales Representative
(all genders: m/f/d and beyond)

Krefeld · Full-time · Permanent position · Starting as soon as possible

You want to understand what you're selling. You ask questions, get a feel for the technical requirements, and can explain why a solution is the right fit. And when that leads to a new customer, you're already looking forward to the next project together.

At MBS, you can do exactly that. With products we develop ourselves. With colleagues who understand the technology behind them. And with the freedom to help shape customer relationships.

Our hardware and software connect devices and systems in building and industrial automation. You’ll work with and advise the people who use them—such as system integrators and engineering firms. These are people who have specific technical questions and appreciate someone who thinks along with them.

Your Job: Explain technology. Build trust. Win over customers.
You’ll strengthen our sales team and serve as the primary point of contact for prospects and customers. You’ll listen, contribute ideas, and work with them to determine which of our products and solutions best meet their needs.

You will advise prospective and existing customers by phone and in writing about our technical products and solutions.

You’ll attract new customers and strengthen existing customer relationships.

You stay in touch and build a long-term partnership.

When needed, you'll assist our support team in addressing our customers' concerns and feedback.

What do you bring to the table? A curiosity about technology. A knack for working with people.
You have experience selling technical products or solutions that require explanation. You enjoy getting to grips with technical concepts and can clearly articulate their benefits. Ideally, you have a background in IT, computer science, or building automation.

You enjoy interacting with people, take their needs seriously, and find satisfaction in helping them find the right solution. In doing so, you combine excellent service with an eye for sales opportunities.

You enjoy working as part of a team and are a confident communicator—you are fluent in spoken and written German, and your English is at least at the B2 level.

Solid technology behind you. Room for your ideas.
Want to know how a product works? The people who develop it are part of your team. See an opportunity to better engage with or advise customers? With us, you’ll find short lines of communication and the freedom to make the most of it.

Here’s how you can combine your technical expertise with your sales skills: win over customer with the right solutions, build and nurture relationships, and make a difference with your ideas.

We take a long-term view—of our products, our customer relationships, and our collaboration with you.

Here’s what else you can expect:
